Margaret Dolores (Morland) Jeppesen was born November 25th, 1945, to Betty and Jock Morland. She was the only daughter of 4 children, and she was always her daddy’s little girl.
When she was 18, she married our dad, Ken Jeppesen. They welcomed 2 girls and one boy to their family, Debra, Bonnie and Dale. As sometimes happens, they parted ways and Margaret carried on on her own. She never remarried, but continued her life with her children, watching them grow and become parents and grandparents themselves. She loved every minute of it.
Mom was never one to sit still. We believe she got that from her own mother. She remained gainfully employed until she became ill and was unable to work anymore. She then stayed in her trailer with her granddaughter Carole until Carole moved out on her own, then she moved in with her grandson Lorne and his family, where she stayed until the end.
Mom was a very caring loving lady who welcomed so many people into our family. Many of our friends called her mom and considered our home theirs as well.
She also had her own extended family, which included her very dearest and longest lasting friends, her ‘sister’, Diane Belsham and Diane’s husband Floyd Belsham. Also, a very dear friend, our Uncle Pat, spoke with her many times a week, and they kept each other company constantly. We want to thank all of the friends that were there for her and made her feel loved and never alone.
Margaret is pre-deceased by her mother, Betty Morland, her father, Jock Morland, her brothers, Rod and Bob Morland and her granddaughter Karen Jeppesen. She is survived by her brother Ken Morland, her children, Debra Jeppesen, Bonnie (Roland) Willson, Dale (Jeannette) Jeppesen, her grandchildren Lorne (Lysa) Jeppesen, Carole Jeppesen, Robyn (Zach) Willson, Dustyn Willson, and her great grandchildren, Kason Little, Kimberley Jeppesen, Cambria Little, Jason Jeppesen and Kynsley Little. Also, several cousins, nieces and nephews, too many to mention.
We will be having a celebration for our mom when the weather is better, so everyone is able to travel here safely and come together to share memories of and stories about her. She would’ve loved to see us all together.
Lots of love to you mom. We cherished the woman you were, and we always will. Thank you for everything you gave us.
