Mom passed suddenly at home, leaving us with broken hearts.

She moved from Latties Brook Nova Scotia to join our dad in Dome Creek, then on to Penny, and Buckhorn, living in various logging camps. They eventually moved to the Bonnet Hill area and finally settled down in town.

She was a force to be reckoned with and everything she did was with full force. In the last years she enjoyed working with the ladies auxiliary gift shop and at the hospital, meeting new friends and manning the information desk in her cute pink smock. It was a job she absolutely loved.

She is predeceased by her husband Stanley and her grandson Garrett.

Survived by her beloved dog Jack; children Cindy (Rick), Stanley (Darlene) and Hope (Jim); grandchildren Ben (Kaelynn), Dayna (Mike), Amanda (Lanny), Todd (Amy) and Alyssa (Ryan); great grandchildren Payton, Emery, Madison,Taylor, Kaiden, Makena, River and a baby girl on the way.

Mom had some fantastic neighbors, Ted and Joyce who she considered family and without who Mom would have been at a loss. We can’t even begin to thank you for everything you did for her. Also to Chad and Jeanette and young Miles, your kindness to Mom never went unnoticed and Mom always enjoyed the stories Miles had for “Miss Claire”.

Mom, we are going to miss you so much and life will never be the same without you. Jack will be loved and cared for just as we promised.
