

In her early years she was a very active person involved in many activities including, golf, squash, archery, hapkido and cadets.
Nayra met her fiance Nathan Briggs on January 20th 2020 and fell deeply in love. She shared her passion for video games, especially difficult ones, known as souls-likes. Her favourites being Elden Ring, Bloodbourne and the Halo franchise. More recently she had the privilege of obtaining her firearms license, her hunting license and becoming a successful hunter. She enjoyed many days shooting targets and hundreds of rounds at Hartman Range and was well known and loved by the staff at Corlanes. She loved sharing good food with family and friends. Her go to places were D'lanos, Betulla Burning, and Mulino.
Nayra was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of fully becoming the woman she was inside with the help of the GRS surgery team in Montreal on Feb 14th 2023, valentines day. A day which would hold special meaning for her forever. She was there to uplift, support, and engage with those in the local lgbtq+ community and made many friends and connections.
She was predeceased by her twin sister Dominique and survived by her mother, Karen Nichols, sister Brandi Graham, and sons Blake Janfield and Emmitt Thibodeau. She will be dearly missed by fiance Nathan Briggs and numerous other friends and family.
She loved receiving colorful flowers of any kind and for any reason. The more flowers in her honour and memory, the more she would be delighted.
