It is with great sorrow that Niel's family announce his passing on September 17, 2013. He leaves behind his wife Lenora, daughter Daena (Marty), sons David and Eric. Missing out on life with "Pop" will be his cherished granddaughters, Alexa and Eve. He is survived also by brothers, Karl, Knud, Tom, Peter & Fred and sisters Marie and Anne as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Niels was predeceased by his father Helbak, mother Rose and brother Jens. A memorial service for Niels will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 11:00am at Assman's Funeral Chapel.
