Raphael (Ray) David Hamel - born on July 17, 1927 in Cantal Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2011 at 2:00pm in Rotary Hospice House, Prince George, surrounded by his loving family. Ray was predeceased by the Mother of his children Ida Marie Hamel and his granddaughter Tara Melissa Schaffner. He is survived by: his wife, Marjorie Hamel; his children, Cecilia (Duane), Rodger (Donna), Eileen (Harold), Carol (Rick), Sharon (Eric), Andrew (Chantelle); 14 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. His Memorial Service will be held at Assman's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers a donation to a favourite charity of your choice would be appreciated.
