It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill (William) Geiger on February 28, 2021. He was born in Rainy River Ontario on September 11 1943. He is predeceased by his father Berthold Geiger, his mother Sadie Kozak, Brother Benny Geiger, sister Violet Zaluski (Kozak), and brother Bobby Kozak. Bill is survive by his wife Cris (Crystal) Geiger, sons Regan(Melanie)and David as well as four wonderful grandchildren Travis, Emily, Brandon and Olivia as well as his brother Leonard Kozak and sister Ruthann Lubenow.
He came to BC in 1967, where he met his soon to be wife Cris Penner. His first job was running skidder for uncle Wallace Anderson after that he started falling and bought his first logging truck in 1975.
His greatest hobbies other then trucking were gold panning, lottery tickets, going to the casino, shopping at princess auto and giving the parts man at Kenworth the gears. Billy also loved spending time with his family having big barbecues and camp fires.
Bill will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.
