Tomlinson, William Martin (September 16, 1947 - September 11, 2017) We are sad to announce the passing of Bill at the age of 69, just before his 70th birthday, due to a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He went in to the next world peacefully, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Bill was a loving husband to Debbie and a caring Father to his children: Marcie (Stephen), Tim (Jennifer), Danielle, and Terry (Rebecca) and a wonderful grandfather to his 13 grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his parents Bill and Ada and is survived by his sisters: Margaret (Allan), Sharon (Jim) and brothers: Harvey (Linda) and David (Val). Bill took his Millwright apprenticeship at International Harvester in Hamilton Ontario and moved to BC where he worked for Canfor Pulp in Prince George for over 30 years. Bill's greatest joys in life were: his family, Christmas, music, camping, happy hour at the campsite and his passionate support of his grandchildren's sports. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, Saturday, September 16, 2017 - 1:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion located at 1116 6th Ave, Prince George, BC. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Information can be found on their website - cpff.ca
