Eva Leah Keys Williams, 99, of Princeton, passed peacefully on to Heaven on Monday, May 7, 2018 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
Born March 16, 1919 in Spanishburg, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Andrew Keys and the late Orpha Alzenna Miller Keys.
Eva attended school in Spanishburg. She was a loving, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. While her health permitted she attended the First Baptist Church, Princeton. She was a member of the Fidelas Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Willard Williams; four brothers, Ralph, Hanford, Dewie, and infant, Conley Keys; five sisters, Flossie Crouch, Beulah Rose, Iva Vannoy, Ennis White Martin, and Wanda Sharp. Janice Terry of Athens is her last surviving sister.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Nora Wyatt and husband, Tommy of Winston-Salem, NC, and Joyce Elaine Powell and husband, Eddie of Princeton, with whom she made her home for the last four years; two sons, Darrell Williams and wife, Betty of Winston-Salem, NC, and Storm Williams of Portland, OR; six grandchildren, Anthony Wyatt, Andrea Powell, Cindy Darby, Lisa Hill, Dean Williams, and Susan Connolly; eight great-grandchildren, Lydia LeMaster, Brittany Cason, Whitney Cockerham, Gabriel Wyatt, Alicia Horne, Zeb Darby, Lindy Darby, and Zack Williams; two great-great-grandchildren, Sawyer Cason, and Atticus Cockerham.
Services to celebrate the life of Eva Leah Keys Williams will be held 3:00PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Pastor David Dockery officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, following the services at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Sgt. Anthony Wyatt, Phillip Keys, Greg Keys, Brian Hill, Brian Lueck, and Dean Williams will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 2:00PM until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
