

Leoncio, son of the late Manuel and Soledad Ordanel Yongque, was born in the Philippines on September 12, 1923. He graduated at Feati Institute of Technology, Philippines in 1951, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Armed Forces in the Far East. He also served in the Philippine Air Force as an Aviation Cadet.
He was the Division Head of General Engineering Services Division at Victorias Milling Company, Philippines for 30 years, having retired in 1983.
Leoncio lived a full life having been a member of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Association of Safety Engineers, the Contractor Association of the Philippines, the Philippine Sugar Technologists, the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Association of the Philippines, the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion.
His faith was important to him being a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton, WV. He especially enjoyed spending time with his dear family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Felomina, daughter Erlinda Dumapit and husband Dr. Ruperto Dumapit, Jr. of the home, sons Edmundo Yongque and wife Loucille of Texas, Bienvenido Yongque and wife Rowena of California, Leoncio Yongque, Jr. and wife Lourdes of Princeton, WV, Albert Yongque and wife Josephine of North Carolina, and Noel Yongque of California. Grandchildren: Jan Louis and Tricia Yongque, Marie Lourdes and Christian Nartates, Dr. Angelica Dumapit, Jose Carlo Yongque, Abigail and Justin Snell, Atty. Ruperto Dumapit, Patricia, Katrina, Francine, Janine, Johanna, Angela, Clarisse, Jasmine, and Pamela Yongque. Great-grandchildren: Adrian, Ariana, Marion Gabriel, Miguel Raphael, Zach Owen, Jose Carlo, Jr., Janina, Cristiano, and Meagan..
A gathering of friends will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV. The funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton, WV on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 11:00-12:00 p.m. with the Reverend Father Luis Antonio Lacson and Deacon Don Hammond officiating. Family and friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
