Paula Sue McKinney Warren

WELCH – Paula Sue McKinney Warren, 57, of Welch, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her residence.

Born January 25, 1956 in Mullens, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Paul McKinney, Sr. and Monzella Marie (Heath) McKinney. A homemaker, she attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Welch, WV. Paula was warm and friendly to everyone and had a great love for animals. She will be missed by all of her many dear pets.

She was preceded in death by husband James Donald Warren, two sons – Christopher James Warren and Nicholas Paul Warren; in-laws Donald and Ann Warren and niece Maria Denise Hicks.

She will be lovingly remembered by brothers William Paul McKinney, Jr. and wife Norma of Princeton, WV; Jack McKinney and wife Nancy of Apex, NC; sisters Linda Shaw and husband John of Gainesville, GA and Brenda Blackwell and husband Sam of Weber City, VA. A grandson whom she adopted as her son – Nicholas Kohl Warren; a granddaughter, Brianna Carter of Roderfield, sister-in-law Mary Jones and husband Bill of Welch, WV and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whom will miss her dearly.

Visitation for Paula will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Virgil Green officiating. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Garden of the Apostles in Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.
