Russell Hartwell

Russell Darrell Hartwell, 64, of Princeton, WV went home to be with the Lord and Savior on March 30, 2018.

He was a former member of the Hiawatha Gospel Mission at BRMC. He was the son of the late Charles W. and Virginia Nesbit Hartwell of Hiawatha, WV. He was a Coal Miner, Carpenter, and employee of ABB in Bland, VA. He enjoyed going to yard sales, antiques, and spending time with his loving family and his dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Hartwell and Michael Hartwell and wife, Roberta.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Kathy Belcher Hartwell; sons, Brannon Hartwell and wife, Carol of Elgin, SC and Joseph Lee Lackey II of Farmville, VA; grandkids, Darrell Michael Hartwell, Gabriel Sizemore Sheets, and Luna Sizemore Sheets all of Elgin, SC; brothers, Jimmy Hartwell and wife, Hail, Steve Hartwell and wife, Carol, Richard Hartwell and wife, Judy, and Timothy Hartwell and wife, Patty; sister-in-law, Nancy Hartwell; special aunt, Ellen Elliott.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00PM Monday, April 2, 2018 at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Old Bluefield-Princeton Road, Green Valley (Ceres) with Pastor David Lee officiating. Brannon Hartwell, Joseph Lee Lackey, II, Richard Hartwell, Timothy Hartwell, Stephen Hartwell, and Woffard Hartwell will be serving as pallbearers.
