Paul was born in Prineville, Oregon on February 26, 1956 to David Leon and Ervilla M. (Hart) Hendrix.

Paul has lived in Prineville most of his life, he attended and graduated from Crook County High School. He entered into the U.S. Marine Corp in 1973 where he traveled the world. He received the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal and the Meritorious Mast. Paul married Carol Shepard January 11, 1974 in Vancouver, Washington they had two daughters together. They later divorced but Paul always stated he has only loved two women in his life and Carol was one. Paul worked at Coin Mill then as a dry waller for his father’s construction company David Hendrix Construction for many many years. Paul also was a train robber on the dinner train for many years he was one of the Younger brothers. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and loved to play pool and ride motorcycles. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Paul is survived by his two daughters Crystal Hendrix of Prineville and Nicole Hendrix of Payette, ID, one brother Tony Hendrix of Prineville and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Sharon “Jade” Hendrix
