A. Rita Hall

Coventry A. Rita (Corry) Hall, 97, of Shortway Drive, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, October 2, 2015, at Brentwood Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John V. Hall.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Annie S. (Leyden) Corry. Rita was the Treasurer for Universal Optical Company for 40 years before retiring in 1996. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, and enjoyed reading, knitting and playing Bridge.She leaves three sisters, Kathleen A. Corry, M. Esther Gorrie and Helen L. Salois, all of Coventry, a brother, Raymond C. Corry of Ballston Lake, NY, and was the loving aunt of several nieces and nephews, Kathleen Chorney, Gayle Leonard, Barbara Barber, Elaine Sisson, Jack Gorrie, Christopher Corry, Kevin Corry, Meghan Federico, Marcia Hutchinson and Susan Riordan. She was the sister of the late James J. Corry, Jr. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:15am, from the Russell J .Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Monday 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
