Adabelle graduated from the Beth Israel School of Nursing in 1953 and also attended some classes at Simmons College. She was a RN and volunteer at Miriam Hospital for many years.
She was a life member of Hadassah and a board member for Congregation Ohawe Shalom in Pawtucket. She enjoyed art, painting, music, sewing, and playing the violin. Adabelle will be remembered as very charitable and a good friend to all.
She is survived by her son Robert Komros; sister Sara Weiss (Norton); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25th at 1:30 PM in the Samuel Priest Chapel in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Rd, Warwick with burial following. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
