Angelica Silva, 82, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, March 3, 2016 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility in Providence.Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Angelica Casanova Vega.Angelica was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and enjoyed gardening, music, and pets.She leaves her children, Edward Daniel Miranda, Francesca Crespo, and Pablo Antonio Silva; grandchildren, Crystal Lee Cosme, Angel Silva, Brandon Silva, and Dereck Silva; and a great granddaughter, Harmony Arlyne Martinez. Angelica was also the mother of the late Carlos Jesus Miro, Angel Manuel Martinez, Lissette Miro, and Carlos Arturo Miro.According to her wishes, funeral services and visitation will be respectfully omitted and burial will be private.
