
Ann Margaret Boland (Stephens), died on Saturday, April 21st, 2012, surrounded by her family and dear friends. Beloved wife of Joseph Boland, and loving and proud mother of Cornelius. Predeceased by her father, Dr. F. Peter Stephens. Sadly missed by her mother Margaret O'Reilly Stephens and her brothers and sisters: Mary Seabrook of London, England; John Stephens of Toronto, Canada; Clare Nukui of Reading, England; Dermot Stephens of Toronto, Canada; and James Stephens of Ottawa, Canada. Ann graduated from Wesleyan University, and went on to attend Rhode Island College, where she earned a Master's degree in education. After graduating with her Master's degree, Ann joined the Hasbro Children's Hospital, where she was a founding member of the Hasbro Children's Hospital Partial Hospitalization Program. Ann continued to work in the program to the present, teaching and mentoring young adolescents with a variety of illnesses and disorders. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues, her many friends both here and overseas, and all the people she has touched over the years. In life it is with thanks that on occasion God places someone among us to brighten the way: so it was with Ann, for she was the soul that brightened our way.
