Ann Marie Ryan

Ryan, Ann Marie, age 71 of East Providence and formerly of Providence, Barrington and Bonnet Shores, passed away on October 4, 2011. She was the sister of Mary A. Ryan of East Providence. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Winifred H. Ryan. She was the sister of the late Edwin J. and Robert J. Ryan. Loving aunt of Edwin J. Ryan, Jr. and wife Katy of Walpole, MA, Robert J. Ryan and wife Linda of Shrewsbury, MA, Mary Flaherty and husband Jeff of Foxboro, MA, Helen M. Ryan of Walpole, MA, and Katherine A. Ryan of Alexandria, VA. Sister-in-law of Helen K. Ryan of Walpole, MA. She is also survived by 6 grand nieces and nephews. Miss. Ryan attended St. Pius Grade School, and a graduate of Bay View Academy. She also attended Providence College evening school, where she was a avid supporter of Friar basketball for over 50 years. Before retirement, she was employed with American Universal Insurance Co. for over 35 years. Her funeral with visitation will be held on SATURDAY at 7:45am from The Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Pius V Church, Providence. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
