Anna Maria Mejia

Born in Palermo, Italy, she was the wife of Jose Yanuario who she shared her life with for 65 years, Anna was the proud mother of Rosa M. Torres and the late Guisseppy Mejia. She spent many years working as an assembler for Texas Instruments, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic before retiring.

Anna was the beloved grandmother of Yesenia, Guisseppy, Roxanne, Edward, Lincy, Sondra, and Jojo; cherished great-grandmother of Christianna, Nashan, Yandel, Gian, Harlem, and the late Brenndon; and the adored great-great-grandmother of Brayden and Kennedy.

A proud Italian, Anna found joy in gardening—especially tending to her orchids and the oregano she lovingly grew. She passed this passion on to her grandchildren, creating lasting memories and traditions.

Her visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence. A committal service will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Anna will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she gave so freely to her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
