Antonetta “Etta” (Palazzo) Ranone, 89, passed away April 9, 2014. Wife of the late Nicholas Ranone; daughter of the late Domenic and Lena (DeToro) Palazzo; mother of Elaine Siefert and her husband David, Janet Marafino and her husband John, Nicholas Ranone and his wife Gail; grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 9; and sister of Caterina Dennis and the late Peter and Anthony Palazzo. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ranone retired as a senior clerk typist for the State of Rhode Island.
Visitation and funeral will be held Monday 8-9:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
