Born in Rome, Italy, he was a son of the late Nicola and Olinda (Beneduce) Falconio; beloved husband of Beatrice (Maesa) Falconio for 52 years; devoted father of Olinda Barbosa and husband John; cherished nonno of Antonio and Nicholas; brother of Sabatino Falconio and Livio Falconio of Italy.
Mr. Falconio was a gardener at the Roger Williams Park Gardens and Greenhouses for the City of Providence before retiring.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by entombment in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
