Bounthavy Sayasene, 37, of Providence, RI, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Roger Williams Medical Center, in Providence. Born in Laos, he was a son of the late Bounmy and Nang Sayasene. He worked as freelance mechanic for several years. Bounthavy loved to draw, enjoyed carpentry and working on cars. Mr. Sayasene leaves his two children, Caitlin Sproul and Kyle Sayasene, both of Destin, Florida; three sisters, Hatsady Tilithda, Phonesy Sayasene, and Chanpheng Sayasene; and two grandchildren, Noah and Arthur Harrison. Buddhist funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 8:00 to 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a funeral procession to the Chapel of Hope and Memory, located within the Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, where the final prayers and cremation will take place.
