Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Giuseppina (Tranolino) Izzo. He was the beloved husband of Carmel (D’Iorio) Izzo.
He was the devoted father of Siena J. Izzo, Carl J. Izzo, Joseph G. Izzo and John J. Izzo; cherished grandfather of Jason J. Izzo; brother of Carol Ortholeva, Helen Salzillo and the late Gaetano Izzo and Rose Chirichella.
Mr. Izzo was the founder and owner of Eagle Plating Company, Inc.. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Evening visitation is omitted. Funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. A graveside burial will follow with Military Honors in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd, Providence. Please omit flowers.
