Carmela Carbone

Carmela (DiBiasio) Carbone, 95, of North Providence passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Carbone and daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Ricciardi) DiBiasio.

She was the loving mother of Linda Martino and her late husband Peter, Debra Prete, Joann Corio (Luigi), Anthony Carbone (Angela), Robert Carbone (Mary Ann) and the late Steve Carbone and Susan Feola Medeiros; cherished grandmother of Ryan, Stephen, Gina, Bianca, Anthony, Ericka, Steve and Victoria; great grandmother of Zakari, Nicholas, Anthony and Zachary. She was also the sister of Mary DiBiasio and the late Josephine Hopp, Edith DeCesare, Linda Campanile, Nicolena DiBiasio, Steve and Anthony DiBiasio.

Carmela was a great mother and grandmother. She took care of everyone, from her kids to her neighbors. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and friends and watching the neighborhood from her window.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:30 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM. Burial will be private.
