Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Thetonia) Fratus.
Carolyn was the mother of Robert D. Sawyer, Carolyn Oliver, Nancy Aguilera, Eileen Murray, Mary Jane Sawyer, Elizabeth Sawyer, Barbara Sawyer and the late Harry Sawyer; grandmother of 29; great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 17. She was also the sister of the late Alfred Fratus.
Her funeral and burial will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 and will be private.
