Catherine Ann Barletta

Catherine A. Barletta (Rotella) 58, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Catherine A. (DeSimone) Rotella and the late Vincent A. Rotella. Cathy loved her children and family dearly. She enjoyed listening to songs performed by her father, facebook, Cadillac automobiles, getting her hair done, and watching television shows, especially the soap opera, Days of our Lives. Besides her mother, she leaves her two children, Melissa A. Barletta, of Providence and Joseph Barletta, of Cranston; two sisters, Joanne Rotella- Coppotelli, of Cranston and Frances Campanella, of North Providence; her three loving grandchildren, Alexus, Shang, and Vinasia Barletta; and many extended family members. She also leaves behind her former husband and close friend, Michael Barletta. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Catherine’s Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 am, in Saint Benedict Church, 135 Beach Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours, Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
