Claire R. St. Cyr

Coventry, RI Claire R. (Beausoleil) St. Cyr, 84, passed away at the home of her daughter & son-in-law on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, after a lenghty illness. Prior to her passing, she was a Lowell native, moved to Leesburg, FL in 1977 where she was a communicant of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL. She was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Paul E. St. Cyr.

Born in Lowell, MA on March 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Yvonne (Rondeau) and Edouard Beausoleil. Claire was educated in Lowell schools graduating from Lowell Trade. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the Lowell mills as a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, creating crafts, playing games, puzzles, entertaining and being around family.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband Diane (St. Cyr) & Michael Brissette of Coventry, RI and sons Richard St. Cyr and his wife Elaine of Fruitland Park, FL, Robert St. Cyr and Ronald St. Cyr of Leesburg, FL, sister and brother-in-law Pauline (Beausoleil) and Leslie R. Hall of Lowell, MA, brothers and sisters-in-law Raymond and Marilyn Beausoleil of The Villages, FL, Roland and Doris Beausoleil of Dracut, MA, Theresa (Levesque) Beausoleil of Townsend, MA, Therese (Boisvert) (Beausoleil) Lagasse of Dracut, MA & Jeanne St. Cyr of Vermont, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 9:00 am at St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Church, Dracut, MA. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetary.
