Colleen Frances Plunkett

Colleen France Plunkett, beloved daughter and sister, entered into eternal rest on August 20th, 2025, after a long illness. Colleen was born in Greenwich, CT on April 18th, 1964. She attended Greenwich public schools, graduating with honors in 1982. Growing up, Colleen was active in the Girl Scouts, played the violin, and was a member of GHS Honor Guard. Colleen also enjoyed skiing, swimming, travel, music and creating/making things throughout her life. She attended Hampshire College, majoring in cinema and communications; and completed her degree in Fine Arts at Three Rivers Community College. For the past decade Colleen has been a resident of Westerly, RI, a community she loved.

Colleen is survived by her parents Marguerite Plunkett and Hugh Plunkett, Jr.(deceased), brother Laurence Plunkett and wife Stephanie Nold Plunkett, sister Maegan Plunkett, sister Elinore Super& David Super(deceased), and sister Mary Plunkett Kruger and husband Robert Dancik. She is also survived by 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 2 great nieces and one great nephew.

Colleen – We will miss your gentle nature, sense of humor, adventurousness and creative spirit. Rest peacefully in love and light with the angels. May you shine brightly from above as the brilliant, beautiful star God has always believed you to be.
