Daniel Joseph Pellegrino

Danny was a talented tile and stone mason and a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He was the devoted father of David Pellegrino (Olivia) of New Hampshire and Santino Pellegrino of Pawtucket, and a cherished grandfather to Kehlani Rose. He was also a loving nephew to Christine Pellegrino-Celio and leaves behind several uncles and cousins.

Danny’s life was a testament to kindness and generosity. He was always on the move, doing favors for friends, helping those in need, and offering the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Danny was authentic and one of a kind. Despite having little, he shared everything he had with those he loved.

One of Danny’s greatest joys was cooking for his friends and family. He loved preparing large lasagna dinners and often surprised his friends with homemade meals delivered to their homes.

Danny was also passionate about music and was known as “DJ Plezha.” He didn’t pursue DJing for the lifestyle or the money; he did it for the joy it brought him. Danny loved the feeling of controlling the crowd and giving them an unforgettable night.

Danny’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Burial will be private.
