

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Michael Goldstein, a beloved brother, dedicated professional, and cherished member of the community. He passed away on April 8, 2026], leaving behind a legacy of intelligence, humor, and unwavering commitment to the place he loved most—the Blackstone Valley.
David was known for his brilliant mind and natural talent with computers. Whether creating intricate websites or helping others navigate an increasingly digital world, he approached every challenge with curiosity, precision, and a quiet confidence. His work not only reflected his skill but also his generosity—he was always willing to lend his expertise to anyone in need.
Beyond his professional life, David was a passionate advocate for the Blackstone Valley. A founding member of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council and the RI Music Hall of Fame, he cared deeply about the community's growth, preservation, and future, and he worked tirelessly to enhance and support the region he called home. His efforts made a meaningful and lasting impact that will continue to benefit others for years to come.
While he was admired for his intelligence and dedication, those who knew him best will remember him most for his remarkable sense of humor. David had a way of bringing lightness to any situation, offering quick wit, thoughtful observations, and laughter when it was needed most.

The funeral will be private. A Shiva will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in the community room at Parkview Apartments, 180 Parkview Drive, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame, Hope Artist Village, 999 Main Street, Suite 100, Pawtucket, RI 02860, in honor of David's commitment to community and progress.
