David P. Padula

He is survived by his loving wife Hildarose (Foley) Padula and their daughter Claire Padula; his former wife Donna and their son David Padula Jr.; his brothers Joseph Padula and his wife Lisa, William Padula and his wife Connie, and John Padula and his wife Alyssa. David was the most cherished uncle of Michael Padula, Amanda Padula-Graniere, Chris Padula, Eric Padula, Ashley Padula, and Emily Padula. He was also blessed with two great nieces, Hailie and Sophia and two great nephews, Spencer and Ryder. He was also a loving honorary uncle of many “nieces and nephews”. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

David was proud to serve his country in the United States Marines Corps. during the Vietnam War. He worked for New England concert promoter Frank J. Russo and Al Dotoli and he continued to serve his country by working for the Rhode Island State Police before retiring in 2008.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, www.osdri.org
