Fusco, Domenic F., Sr., age 73, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Roger Williams Medical Center.Domenic was the beloved husband of Maureen (Murray) Fusco.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Amelia (Mansolillo) Fusco.Before retirement, Mr. Fusco was a self- employed hairdresser for many years. He served with the Marine Corp from 1958-1964, was a past Grand Knight of the John F. Kennedy Council of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Fusco enjoyed playing golf, and most of all was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family.Besides his loving wife of over 52 years, he is survived by his children, Domenic F. Fusco, Jr. and wife (Shelley) of Cranston, Dana M. Fusco and wife (Cynthia) of North Providence and Deneen Anne Cooke and husband(Dana) of North Kingstown. Brother of Robert Fusco of Pawtucket and Mary Ann Nasciamento of North Providence. Grandfather of Courtney, Emma, Kailey and Domenic III.Mr. Fusco's funeral will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral home 331 Smith St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence RI 02909. Interment with military honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Domenic's memory to Saint Thomas Church would be deeply appreciated.
