Born in Providence, she was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Eva (Esser) Lessard, and her siblings, William Lessard, Dian Lessard, and Louis Lessard Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Eva Halko, MaryAnn Dopp and Kathleen Bretz. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Donna will be remembered for her beautiful and fiery spirit. No one who met Donna forgot her infectious smile and laughter, her passion for God and His work. She was an active member at Warwick Hope Assembly of God. Donna truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family and spending time with her church family. Her vibrance and sense of humor filled every room. She was warm and affectionate with an endless capacity to do for others.
Donna’s family would like to extend special thanks to all who took care of her at South County Hospital and at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a later date.
