Dorothy B. Giammarco

Dorothy B. (Bolduc) Giammarco, 88, of North Providence, passed away in the comfort of her home on April 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Hosea and Arzelie (Levesque) Bolduc.

She was the loving wife of the late Arthur “Brownie” Giammarco. She was the beloved mother of Cheryl Hammad, Gary A. Giammarco and his wife, Deborah Giammarco. She was the cherished grandmother of Dania Hammad, Bianca and Gianna Giammarco. Sister of Edward Bolduc, Rose Bissonnette, Theresa Monfils and Pamela Gagnon as well as the late Oscar, Roger, Leo, Maurice, Philip, Robert, and Henry Bolduc, Bella Begin, Gabrielle Ando, Edna DiFilippo and Jeannette Mogayzel.

Dorothy lived a beautiful eighty-eight years of life and was adored by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was recognized by her kind heart and quick wit, as well as her strength and generosity. Her values were rooted in family and faith, which made her a guiding light to those around her. Dorothy’s memory will live eternally within the many hearts she touched.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4 from 4-7 p.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 5, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Edwards Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence RI. Burial will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Edward’s Food & Wellness Center.

Those relatives and friends who wish to attend the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to Saint Edward’s Church and park in the rear parking lot.
