Edith Feingold

Edith (Edie) Feingold entered into rest on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Tamarisk Assisted Living in Warwick, RI. Edie was born and raised in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late Marian and Isadore Kwasha. Edie will always be remembered for her bright smile and never ending kind words. Her forte in life was helping others. Whether it be her devotion to the sisterhood at Temple Emmanuel or her desire to spoil her granddaughters, she always put everyone else first. Edie was the loving wife of 58 years to the late Eli Feingold of Providence, RI, and the loving mother of Barbara (Feingold) Trilling and her husband William of Natick, and the late Steven Feingold and his late wife Linda (Levine) Feingold. She was the sister of the late Lottie Seegal and the Leonard Kwasha and is survived by her sister Helene Sondler of Warwick, RI. She also leaves her cherished and loving granddaughters, Tammy (Trilling) MacGregor and her husband Paul of Framingham, and Beth (Trilling) Cohen and her husband Michael of Las Vegas, Taryn Feingold of Los Angelos, and Ashley (Stern) Rosen and her husband Ben. She was also the adoring great grandmother to Zachary, Ethan and Ava. In addition she will be sorely missed by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 14th at 10AM at Temple Emanu-El, 99 Taft Ave, Providence, RI 02906 with burial in Lincoln Park Cemetery, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Shiva will be held immediately following services at Tamarisk Assisted Living, 3 Shalom Dr, Warwick, RI 02886.
