Dabney, Edward W., age 91 passed away on January 3, 2009 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Derrick) Dabney.Born in New Bedford MA, he was the son of the late Mae Dabney Before retirement, Mr. Dabney was employed by Ward baking Co, as a truck driver. He was also very active with the Teamsters Union local 251. Besides his wife of 69 years, he leaves a loving daughter Patricia Martel and his granddaughter Jennifer Arnold.
