Eleanor Luella Howard

Howard, Eleanor L., 81, of Gardiner Road, Richmond, and formerly of Long Street, .Warwick, died Wednesday at the Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Stanley H. Howard.Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Bellerly) Wood, she lived in West Kingston for the past twenty years, previously living in Warwick. Mrs. Howard was a certified nursing assistant at the West Bay Manor for fifteen years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Congregation at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, Apponaug, for many years. She leaves two sons; John T. Howard of Exeter, Paul D. Howard of Warwick, a daughter; Susan E. Blake of West Greenwich, a brother; Edward Wood of Warwick, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Gilbert W. Wood. The Requiem Eucharist at Saint Barnabas Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick, will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 am, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in the Riverbend Cemetery, Westerly. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
