Eleanor Olivo

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Louise (Martinelli) DeFusco.

Eleanor worked for the Diamond Paper Box Company for many years, retiring at age 80.

She was the mother of Stephen Olivo and his wife Donna and Deborah Peluso and her husband Richard; grandmother of Jason, Shana, Justin and Catarina and great grandmother of Ricky, Gino, Kal and Diana. She was also the sister of Frances Bergandino, Tessi Petronio, Eddy Defusco, Maggie Goneconte, Connie Fazio, Suzi Lanzi, Louise Bianco, Anthony Defusco, Anna Bianco, Joey Campagnone, and Barbara Maguire.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association: RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
