Providence Elena J. Clark, 44, of Stansbury Street, died Tuesday evening, April 29, 2014, at the Miriam Hospital. She was the fiancée of Paul A. Melillo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James Brown and Elizabeth (Clark) Lonergan and step-daughter of Carl Lonergan. In addition to her fiancée, and step-father, Elena leaves two daughters, Ashley P. Corio and Caterina M. Callahan; four brothers, James Brown Jr., Carl Lonergan III, Anthony Lonergan and his wife Erin and Matthew Lonergan; two sisters, Donna Hathcock and Amanda Lonergan; a granddaughter Lilly Zebrowski and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at 2:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm.
