North Kingstown Elizabeth D., "Deirdre" Horan, 60, of Glenwood Drive, died Sunday at home. She was the beloved wife of R. Kevin Horan. They were married for twenty-eight years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret "Alice" (Beirne) Higgins, she lived in North Kingstown for twenty-three years, previously living in Pawtucket. Deirdre was a loving and caring wife and mother who took great pride in her family. Beside her husband, she leaves a son, Brendan P. Horan; a daughter, Margaret "Maggie" Horan; three brothers, Barry, Kevin and Michael Higgins, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Friday, at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Avenue, East Greenwich. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 - 8 pm.
