Filomena DiNitto

Beloved wife of the late Antonio DiNitto; daughter of the late Luigi and Orsola (Villucci) Buonaiuto; loving mother of Carol DiNitto-Rosol (Matthew) and Carmine DiNitto (Vicki); grandmother of Antonio DiNitto; sister of the late Teresa Nero, Anthony and Peter Buonaiuto; aunt of Judy Nero, JoAnn O’Kleasky and two nephews; and her devoted feline companion Angel-Diana.

Phyllis will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her encouraging words and her tender heart. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a beautiful person whose faith was evidenced in the way in which she lived her life. Among her many interests was her enjoyment of playing the piano, reading the Bible and baking.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
