Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank M. Bianco Sr. and Jennie (Loffredo); devoted husband of the late Mary B. Bianco (Coccia); cherished father of the late Karen A. Bernardo and her husband Joseph A. Bernardo Sr.; beloved grandfather of Joseph A. Bernardo Jr.; treasured brother of the late Everett Bianco Sr. and his wife Lorraine and Carmino Bianco and his wife Thelma. He is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews.
Frank worked at Regal Plating from the age of 16 until his retirement at the age of 65, always the hardest working man in the room, he also participated in various secondary jobs over the course of his life. When Frank wasn’t working, you could find him in his yard, performing various handy tasks and odd jobs to ensure that his yard and the home he shared with his beloved Mary was immaculately groomed and pristine. Frank was the classic Italian from Federal Hill, never afraid to speak his mind or regale listeners with a story from his childhood/early adult life “on the hill”. Those who knew him best however, will remember him for his contagious laugh, his beautiful singing voice, his devotion and fierce loyalty to his family, his kind heart, and a unique talent for instilling raucous laughter through his jokes, antics, and stories. Much like his daughter and wife, Frank did not want for much in this life. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his beloved family, reminiscing on the “good days”, as he affectionately termed the past. All of us who knew him will cherish the memories and stories that he left us with, always remembering a laugh that he provided for us or a comforting word in a time of personal strife. The Lord truly broke the mold when they made Frank, there will never be another like him, and we are blessed to have known him and to have been loved by him.
