Frank A. King

Frank A. King, age 86, passed away May 12, 2022 at hospice. He was a son of the late Chester King, a fallen Providence Firefighter, and Mary (Falls) King; the beloved husband of Claire (Capaldi) King, they were happily married for 66 years; loving father of Deborah Balkun (Tom), Kathleen Barton (Robert), and Valerie Mancuso (James); cherished grandfather of Frank King, Thomas “TJ” Balkun, Jr., and Vanessa Barton; and lived long enough to get to know and love his great-granddaughter Talia Marie Baldinelli; brother of the late Chester King; uncle of several nieces and nephews; and beloved brother in law of Isadore Capaldi, Alice Johnson, and the late Nicholas Capaldi. He was a member of the Local 57 Operating Engineers and spent 40 years as an operator for Capaldi Bros. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Jude Church, 301 Front St, Lincoln followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park.
