Frank Simeone Jr., 82, passed away April 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Rose B. (Piccirilli) Simeone; son of the late Frank Sr. and Rose (Boragine) Simeone; father of Donna R. Trainor (Thomas), Frank Simeone III (Deborah), Thomas P. Simeone (Julie), Robert J. Simeone (Ann), Linda A. Simeone (James), and Matthew J. Simeone (Sarah); grandfather of 9; brother of Joseph Simeone, Suzanne O’Donnell and the late Nicholas Simeone and Marie Ricci.
Mr. Simeone served in the Army during the Korean War and was the founder and operator of Eastern Cablevision Corporation.
Visitation Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, followed by entombment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
