

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William C. Bernard, Sr. and Sheila A. ( Kandzerski ) Suibielski.
Gail worked as a technician for the RI Blood Center for many years. She had also worked with adolencent kids with autism. She was a strong women who put family first and never allowed herself to be dependent on anyone else to get something done. From working on her vehicles, lending her smaller hands to the local auto mechanic shop to get into those tiny areas of a vehicle or home improvement projects. If it needed to get done Gail would make sure it was done by her hands. She loved her children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family and she will be missed dearly.
Gail is survived by her sons, Christian J. Monterio and his fiancé Ebony Braxton from Woonsocket, Eric J. Monterio of Providence, her grandchildren, Mystique Monterio, Alina Sostre-Monterio, Jace Monterio, Dream Monterio, Christian “ Bean “ Monterio, Michael Lomba all of Woonsocket, her siblings Cynthia Ott of OH, Alicia Hassell of CT, Elizabeth Campos of East Providence, Jacquline Bernard of Cranston and Stephen Bernard of Warwick.
Gail was mother of the late Edwina J. Monterio and sister of the late William C. Bernard, Jr., Sheila Bernard, Deborah Lewis and Carole Montanaro.
Calling hours will be Wednesday October 7, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
