George R. Letizia, 77, passed away October 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Helene J. (Donahue) Letizia; son of the late Carmine and Stella (D’Antonio) Letizia; devoted father of Peter C. Letizia Sr. and his wife Donna, and Matthew J. Letizia and his wife Mary; cherished grandfather of Peter “PJ” C. Letizia Jr; and brother of Maria Nemesi. He also leaves his dog, Sadie and his four cats, Lucy, Charlie, Maggie and Sweetie.
George was a communicant of and worked at Holy Cross Church. He had also worked for several Apex stores before retiring.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Autism & Sacraments Program, 350 Fair Street, Warwick, RI 02888.
