

Warwick: Gannon, Gerald M., 70, of Warwick, RI and Jupiter, FL, died Thursday, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Tannaccio) Gannon.Born in Providence, he was the son of Muriel (Healey) Holloway of Warwick and the late Francis Gannon.He was the founder of G.M. Gannon Company and affiliates including Chem-Pak Corporation, Cycle Solve Corporation and GMG Management.He served in the US. Air Force from 1954-1958. He was an avid golfer and boatsman. He was a member of the Warwick Country Club and Jonathan's Landing Golf Club in Jupiter,FL. He was a member of the Chemical Club of New England.Besides his wife and mother, he leaves his 3 children, Cheryl Augustine of West Warwick, Steven Gannon of Plantation, FL and Julie Gannon of Warwick, two brothers, Glenn and Bradford Holloway of Warwick, two sisters, Janet Donnelly of Palm Bay, FL and Christine Stanley of Warwick and he's the loving Grampie to his wonderful grandchildren, Bernie and Brittany Augustine. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and his ever loyal canine companion, Bailey, who was always by his side. He was the brother of the late Robert P. Gannon.The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in St. Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Monday, 4-8pm.
