WarwickGloria M. Isles, 83, passed away on Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Hortense (Carmody) Isles. Gloria was a Mathematics Teacher in the Seekonk School System for 38 years, retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church, Cranston. She graduated from Classical High School, Providence, Class of 1943 and Rhode Island College in 1947. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Gloria is survived by one sister, Shirley A. Bolger of Cranston, several nieces and nephews, including Mary A. Ballou with whom she lived. She was the sister of the late Nathan F.Isles and Sylvia Berthiaume. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Edgewood, to which relatives and friends are invited. burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Church, 30 Warwick Ave, Cranston, RI 02905, or Cranston Public Library, Auburn Branch, 396 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910 in her memory would be appreciated.
