Born in Providence, Greg was the beloved son of Stephen and Carol (Hardy) Ceseretti, cherished father of Lily Ceseretti and step-son, David Whynot; and loving brother of Stephen Ceseretti, Jr., Mark Ceseretti (Karen) and Kerri Ceseretti Thoren. He also leaves his best friend and life partner, Sarah J. Ceseretti, and several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A proud graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and the University of Rhode Island, Greg settled in North Carolina with his family in 2006 working as a financial manager for several different county government agencies. Greg was the most kind-hearted easy-going soul with a fun-loving nature. Following in his grandfathers’ and dad’s footsteps, Greg had a truly special gift- he listened. And as a great listener, he made everyone around him feel special. He fiercely loved his family and friends- embracing the chaos and craziness of family gatherings and friends’ parties big and small. But most importantly, Greg was an amazing father- completely and utterly devoted to his daughter Lily. Simply put, to know Greg was to love him. He gave so much more than he ever received and we are all the better for it. Nothing will be the same without him and he will be missed beyond words.
