Gregory George Nason, 56 of North Providence passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Providence, he was the son of George A. Nason and the late Ann (Manfredo) Nason.
A passionate sports fan of all types, Greg rarely missed a game and enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm with friends and family. He was known for his caring heart, good sense of humor, and always loved to laugh. Above all, Greg wished to be remembered as a son who cared deeply for his mother and father. This is a wish that will forever be honored by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his father, he is survived by his brother David G. Nason, his sister-in-law Nicole Nason, three nieces and nephews, Alex, Abby, and Brady, and his Uncle Danny Nason.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private.
