She was the wife of the late Francois G. Gros. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Annie Wilson.
Mrs. Gros was the loving mother of Darryle R. Gros and the late Damion Gros; grandmother of Justin Taylor; and aunt of Affadella McCarthy and Rayleen Hawkins.
She also leaves the Gros family of Louisiana, Larry Numa, Arthur Brooks, Florina Meredith, Constance Carroll-Fobbs, Joyce A. Jackson, Eartha Smith, Eva Jackson and countless children whose lives she touched over a 25 year teaching career.
Gwendolyn’s memorial service will be private.
